Space-Sea Game

This game was originally made with a group for a class project! I have put it here to share with others!

The goal of the game is to fire at the many enemies through different rounds and see how far you can go! However, the aliens will also fire back and can cause you to lose!

Game Rules:

1. You have three lives. Once the health bar reaches 0, you lose a life. If you lose all three lives, then you lose the game!

2. Enemies will try to attack you and you must shoot at them to advance to the next round. After the 4th round, the game will loop with more asteroids and enemies spawning the next time around.

3. You can move the ship with the arrow keys (only being able to go as high up as 1/3 of the bottom half of the screen).
    - Player 2 can move the ship with WASD.

4. You can also press SHIFT to activate the ship's special attack.
    - Player 2 presses E to activate the special attack.

5. Press ESC to exit, R to restart, T to resume (when on the pause screen), and 0 to mute.

Player(s) can chose which ship to play as, as well as the option to play single player or 2 player.

We made this with no game engine, purely java and Processing4 with some helper functions to display images/text, apply matrix transformations to those images, and ability to track button presses as well as mouse location and clicks. No physics, colliders, player script, GUI elements,  particle systems, timers, or parenting one object's position to another provided, just pure math and creating it all from scratch!
